Coming together to advance unity and confront hate

What to Expect

Our time is now for collective action against hate.

Join us for the California Civil Rights Summit – a full day of art activations, cultural discussions, workshops, and celebration. We will focus on how, as a community and a state, we can advance unity and confront hate.

The day will include discussions on pop culture and representation, reporting hate, and the urgent need for support services and community care. You’ll hear from cultural leaders, local organizers, artists, and elected officials on tactics, challenges, and community solidarity to encourage collective action. Workshops include bystander trainings, art and writing healing, and advocacy efforts.

This summit is in partnership with The Commonwealth Club, California Commission on the State of Hate, and Stop the Hate.
